Who does HighlightPilot work best for?
HighlightPilot automatically creates Twitch clip candidates for content creators. It works best on popular streamers with active live chats — quiet or very small chats produce fewer (and often less useful) clips.
Are all clips ready to post?
No. Not every clip is usable content, and some detections can be false positives. Use the Clip Inbox (scores + “why clipped”) to review before you publish.
What does HighlightPilot detect?
Live chat spikes, CLIP-style callouts, emote/phrase concentration, and other stream signals while a channel is monitored. Each clip can show a customer-facing “Why was this clipped?” explanation.
Does it work while I’m offline?
Yes. Monitoring runs in the cloud. You do not need to keep HighlightPilot open on your computer.
Does HighlightPilot need to be installed?
No. It is a web app. Connect Twitch, add channels, and review clips in the dashboard.
What Twitch permissions are required?
HighlightPilot uses OAuth for the permissions needed to create official Twitch clips for connected accounts. It does not ask for unrelated Twitch capabilities.
How many channels can I monitor?
Your first monitored channel is free for a 3-day trial after signup. After the trial, channels are billed per seat ($2 / month). Accounts also have a maximum channel cap for reliability.
When am I charged?
During the 3-day trial, 1 channel is free. After that you are charged $2 per monitored channel each month (when Stripe billing is enabled).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel a channel and monitoring continues through the end of the billing period you already paid for, then the seat drops off.
What happens if Twitch disconnects?
Reconnect Twitch from Settings. Monitoring and clipping that require your connection pause until the connection is valid again.
Does HighlightPilot publish clips automatically?
HighlightPilot creates official Twitch clips and surfaces them in your Clip Inbox. It does not auto-post to other social platforms.
Does HighlightPilot work with other streaming platforms?
Twitch is supported today. Other platforms are planned — not available yet.
