Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of the HighlightPilot Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension, termination, or reporting to Twitch or authorities.
1. Required conduct
- Comply with Twitch Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and API / Developer terms
- Comply with applicable law (including privacy, intellectual property, and harassment laws)
- Use official Twitch clips and review candidates before publishing
- Respect streamer opt-out decisions and do not attempt to evade them
- Keep account credentials secure; do not share login access in ways that evade billing
2. Not allowed
- Using HighlightPilot to harass, stalk, dox, scam, defame, or unlawfully target streamers, chatters, or others
- Monitoring or clipping in ways that violate Twitch rules, copyright, or local law
- Attempting to bypass billing, slot limits, rate limits, opt-outs, or access controls
- Scraping, crawling, or reverse-engineering protected parts of the Service beyond ordinary use
- Interfering with Service integrity (malware, credential stuffing, load attacks)
- Misrepresenting affiliation with Twitch, game publishers, or HighlightPilot
- Using the Service to create or distribute illegal content, CSAM, or content that exploits minors
- Reselling access without our written permission
3. Fair use of detection
Automated clipping can fire on spam, bait, or low-quality moments. Do not rely on HighlightPilot as the sole editorial judgment for publishing. Do not configure the Service primarily to overwhelm a channel with abusive clip spam.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate reports, remove monitoring slots, revoke API access, suspend accounts, and preserve logs as needed for security and legal compliance. We may refuse service where risk is high.
5. Reporting
Report abuse to support@highlightpilot.com, the Contact page, or the dashboard Support tab. Streamers who want monitoring stopped should use verified opt-out.
