HighlightPilot is software for creators, editors, and teams who need Twitch highlights without watching every stream. It runs in the cloud: you connect Twitch, add channels up to your slot limit, and receive clip candidates in a dashboard inbox.

How HighlightPilot works

  1. You sign up and connect Twitch OAuth with the scopes needed to read chat and create clips.
  2. You add one or more Twitch channels (slots). Monitoring starts in the cloud.
  3. Workers watch live audience energy on those channels and filter obvious spam and noise.
  4. When a moment qualifies, HighlightPilot creates an official Twitch clip through Twitch’s Helix API using your connected account.
  5. Clips appear in your Clip Inbox with metadata, quality heuristics, and a short “why clipped” note. Optional email alerts are available.

Supported platforms

Twitch only. HighlightPilot does not monitor Kick, YouTube Live, or other platforms.

Live monitoring

Monitoring is live and cloud-hosted. You do not leave a laptop on muted streams. Multiple customers watching the same Twitch login share infrastructure; each account still applies its own preferences and cooldowns.

How moments are found

HighlightPilot finds candidate moments from live audience energy on Twitch — not from computer vision on gameplay frames. Viewer count can influence scoring; it is not the primary clip trigger. Game presets tune sensitivity — they do not recognize kills, bosses, or objectives visually.

Clip workflow

After capture, clips stay on Twitch. HighlightPilot stores URLs, thumbnails, titles/descriptions (rule-based packaging), scores, and trigger context. You review candidates, delete noise or organize into folders, and decide what to publish elsewhere. HighlightPilot does not auto-publish to TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram.

Privacy and data basics

Account, billing, and monitoring data are handled under the published Privacy Policy and Terms. Streamers can request opt-out via Streamer opt-out. Dashboard and admin areas are private and not intended for search indexing.
